She was predeceased by her mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. She was born on Aug. 18, 1929 in Alberta where she grew up on the family farm. After the war she moved to Ontario and worked in textiles and then met her husband and raised her family here. She had a wonderful life in Ontario with her children and then proudly working at Riverside Billiards before her retirement. Sunday dinners, her great sense of humour and stories of her life on the farm will be sadly missed. Her attention to everyone else’s stories, love she showed and shared to all, her legacy of quilts and sewing, Hungarian cultures, dancing, baking and cooking, will remain in our hearts forever. May God bless her in heaven. Helen’s family will welcome friends and family at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge on Wednesday, March 14th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
