Albert Maxwell "Lloyd" Blackmore

Blackmore, Albert Maxwell "Lloyd" At the age of 71 years passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Stirling Heights LTC, Cambridge, Ontario. Lloyd was born on February 16, 1949 on Bell Island, Newfoundland to the late William and Annie Blackmore. He was the middle child of 5 children; Marina (Jim) Chownyk, Fred (Arlene) Blackmore, Renée (Herb) Blackmore., and Sharon (Pete) Einwechter. Lloyd will be missed by his children Lloyd (Alexis) Blackmore and Lisa (David) Walsh. He was the proud grandfather to Nikki and Lexi Blackmore, Noah (Erin), Elijah, Logan, Clark, Gabriel, Sophie, Anna and Lydia Walsh. Lloyd had recently become a great grandfather to Ian Gibson and Logan Blackmore as well as another on the way, Baby Walsh. Lloyd will also be greatly missed by his beloved friend and caretaker Bev. Lloyd retired from 29 years of work as a Machinist at Jamesway Incubator Co INC in 2014. He was a longtime member of the Galt Newfoundland Club where he enjoyed a game of horseshoes, euchre or darts back in the day. Lloyd enjoyed most of his retired days on his back patio listening to Oldies. A special thank you to the staff of Stirling Heights for the care given over the past year. Any donations made to Salvation Army Cambridge Citadel would be greatly appreciated by the family. Private services to be arranged by family at a later date.
