Larry Beke

Beke, Lawrence Anthony January 6, 1952 … February 11, 2010

Larry Beke went home to our Lord peacefully, with his family by his side on Thursday February 11, 2010. Larry will forever be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents Anthony & Barbara Beke, son Glen Cation and grand-daughters Sophie and Emily. Larry was a cherished brother of Wayne (June Babister), Franko, James (Rita), Cathy Cummings (Jim), Carol Vale (Mike), Sharon Shoemaker, Steve & Barb and special nephew of Eunice O’Brien (Gus). Larry was a beloved uncle of Colleen, Tanya, Tara, Laura, Ashley, Katie, Matt and great uncle of Justin & Dominick. Larry is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Larry was a free spirit and a “good ol’boy” who touched many lives. All will remember him most for his gentle heart, giving nature and easy laugh. To have known him was to love him. If love could conquer death, Larry would surely still be with us. Many grateful thanks to all involved in Larry’s care throughout his illness, all of his many doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and homecare support for their kind and compassionate care of Larry and the loving kindness shown to our family during this difficult time. You are all very special people. Also to his many friends and extended family for your visits, support, love and kindness. We are truly blessed. A celebration of his live will be held Sunday February 28, 2010 from 1 … 4 at the Galt Branch 121 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Lunch will be served. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
