Dorothy Dobbin

Dobbin, Dorothy (nee Hamilton) … passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Friday February 19, 2010 at the age of 82. Devoted wife of Ray Dobbin. Loving mother of Mark (Peggy) of Kitchener, Kerry Beckman (Steve) of Cambridge and Leslie Gray (Mark) also of Cambridge. Beloved grandmother of Scott and Jillian Dobbin, Ben, Sam and Nick Beckman and Katie, Mollie, Kerrie and Abbie Gray. Dorothy will also be missed by her brother Donald Hamilton (Cathy) of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Violet Hamilton (nee Rusaw), her brother William and her sisters Nora Clement and Margaret Harbinson. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Church, 15 Wellington St., Cambridge on Saturday February 27, 2010 at 11 am. Mom will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving, generous, forgiving Christian woman. Always concerned about others first. We will all miss her terribly. The family would like to thank Dr. Diane Humphrey, the Para Med caregivers and the nurses and doctors at Cambridge Memorial and St Mary’s Hospitals.
