Helen "Ivy" Bevan

Bevan, Helen “Ivy” (nee Court) … Peacefully at St. Luke’s Place, Cambridge, on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur (1997). Kind and caring mother of Larry Bevan (Lynne), Linda Bevan, Karen Kelly (Pat) and Kim Bevan (Dave). Special grandmother of five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ivy will also be sadly missed by her sister Betty Young (Wes) and several family members. Predeceased by her son Terry. Aside from her family, Ivy’s passions included horseshoe, golf, bowling and darts. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge on Tuesday March 2, 2010 at 10:30a.m. with Rev. Robert Skelding officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
