Filomena Amaral

Amaral, Filomena (Nee Machado) – Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Joao Amaral. Cherished mother of Ana Moreira (the late Agustinho), Leonilde Camara (Emanuel), Estrela Furtado (Joao), Tony Amaral (Dora), Paul Amaral (Cindy), Susan Melo (Luis) and Dianne Otaki (Sam). Special grandmother of Michelle, Jennifer, Raquel, Joshua, Stephanie, Natasha, Amanda, Kimberly, Alex, Tyler, Nicole, Paige, Ava, Abigail, Simon and Nico and great grandmother of 14. Filomena will also be sadly missed by her brother Edward Machado, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Family would like to thank the Brantford Outreach Team, Dr. B. McNeil & Nurse Shelley & the CBI Nursing agency for their wonderful support and care our mother received at home, surrounded by close family.
