William Newton (Bill) Bone
1943-2021

BONE,
William Newton (Bill) Born, on April 29, 1943, passed away on Feb. 16,
2021, in the Palliative Suite at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton.
He leaves his two daughters behind Shannon
and her husband Guy - Raegan and her husband David. Also,
mourning this loss are his beloved
grandchildrenSamuel, Broderick, Nicole, and
his partner in parenting, Sylvia. He is predeceased by his sister,
Elizabeth Wallace, and parents Mae and Newton Bone. Bill
enjoyed a long career as an educator and retired as a Principal with
the Peel Board of Education in 1994. It was there, he met
his lifelong friends, Jan and Dave Richardson. Our lives are forever
entwined and we are so thankful for your generous spirit and
unwavering friendship with Bill. Upon his retirement, he moved north
to his beloved Menominee Lake where he made more connections with the
community through his involvement with the Heritage Train and his
faithful patronage at The Baysville Pavilion. When his health became
too much for him to manage, he lived with Raegan and Dave outside of
Hamilton. We are so thankful for his Nurse Mui and devoted
PSW Deb who tolerated his questionable sense of humour, daily
frustrations and was a great source of information and support to our
family. A dedicated volunteer for The Huntsville and Lake of Bays
Railway Society for as long as he was able, donations to the Muskoka
Heritage Place in his honour would be so meaningful to the
family.
