It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eusebio "Ozzy" Cordeiro. After a courageous battle with brain cancer, Ozzy died at home May 11, 2021 surrounded by family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Aida, daughter Meagan (Braeden), his three sisters Encarnação (José), Manuela (Germano), Natalia (Eduardo), his mother-in law Ana, his sister-in law Esmeralda (Al) and, all of his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Mathew as well as both of his parents Manuel Cordeiro and Guilhermina Morgado.
Ozzy will be remembered for his sense of humour, always eating and drinking, and his love of S.L. Benfica.
In lieu of flowers, donations can me made to the Canadian cancer society or a charity of choice.
Due to the provincial guidelines unfortunately the visitation is now FULL. We apologize for any inconvenience and we ask that everyone please respect the family and the funeral home staff as they are simply following the provincial guidelines set by the BAO. For those that have called and were unable to reserve your time we do have your information on a stand by list and will utilize this should there be any cancellations. Private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Cambridge on Saturday May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. For those that wish to join us virtually, please do so with the zoom link that is provided below. Zoom will start at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home and resume at 11 a.m. at the church, then at the cemetery following the mass, there will be instructions during the live stream. interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
